She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Woman's Christian Missionary Society. Desides her husband, she is survived by a son, Joseph S. Lyle, Lexi ngton; a brother, Dr. J. F. Knox, Stanton; a sister, Mrs. H. Ray Shear, Winchester, and two grandchildren, Joe Eric Lyle and Janet Kay Lyle, both of Lexington . Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Friday at the Scobee Funeral H ome by the Rev. Allen C. Garner. Burail will be in the Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
