After he passed away Drusilla went to Texas and brought Thornton back for burial in Moundridge. Sherman, Texas Thornton Churchill James COLE and Drusilla SHOWALTER were married on 14 August 1873.41 Drusilla SHOWALTER was born on 9 September 1847 in Pulaski Co., Virginia.41 She died on 8 February 1918 in Moundridge, Kansas (Died @@ 5:00 A.M.).41 She was Methodist. Both Drusilla and her Mother passed away on the same day. Drusilla passed away in the morning and her Mother Melvina passed away later that afternoon.
