 William Ervin Butram

 Civil War Letters and Photos

William fought for the South.  He was wounded  once at Stones River and once at Chickamauga.  He was captured in Virginia and imprisoned at Elmira Prison of War Camp were he died.   William’s brother, George, died at Chickamauga caring the flag.
