Was Prominent Physician And Farmer of Montgomery and Breeder of Fine Hereford Cattle.Mt. Sterling. Ky, March 27--Dr. A. T. Knox, retired physician and farmer, died at 11:15 o'clock Wednesday night at his home near Thompson Station, following a paralytic stroke, which he suffered early in the evening . Dr. Knox was widely known as a breeder of fine Hereford cattle, his stock having taken many prizes at the state and other fairs. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary M. Knox; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Shearer of Pittsburg,PA., and Mr s. John Lisle, of Owensboro, formerly a resident of Winchester, and one son, Sr . John F. Knox, of this city. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the family residence, the Rev. J. T. McGarvey of Lexington, officiating, assisted by the Rev. A. C. Brooks, of this city. Burial was in Machpelah cemetery.
