From the Rogers book...Pleasant lived in many places such as, MA, NY and FL. He was a commissioner of prohibition fror KY and TN. He worked for the FBI and had orange groves in Fl. He said he was named for an old church, "Pleasant Green in the Bluegrass" in Bourbon Co, KY.

From the Rogers book...Ike died shortly after his marriage to Carolyn. There were rumors that he could have died from food poisoning. He liked carpentry work. He built a big new house. It burned shortly after his death.2 _SDATE 57 1900

From the Rogers Book...In his obit he was listed as being a magistrate, master commissioner and a JP in Lee Co. He was a member Stafford Lodge F&AM, a master of Thacker Lodge many time, a Grand Sord Bearer of the Grand lodge in 1926 and he attended the Grand Lodge 40 consecutive sessions. Probably one of the nicest thing written about him, "He never refused anyone who asked him a favor".
They lived in Dripping Springs until Celia's father gave them some land near the Lee/Estill line. They later bought more land in this area. Their house burned in 1972. The Eager Baptist church by the Rogers Cememtery was built on the land that Celia gave the community. The Faith Baptist church was built after the congreation grew.
