They lived for many years in a log house (still standing in 1977) on a
large farm at the present site of Cranesnest.  Later they moved to Coeburn
where Noah was a merchant.  Afterwards they moved to Wise and are buried

to Leck, Dickinson Co.  There he served as a jailer, 1896-99, and as
Justice
of the Peace.  Both were members of the Missionary Baptist Church.
They are
buried at their homeplace in Leck.
