Thomas Ray Greer, 52, of Earlington, died at 6:04 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky. Born Aug. 3, 1946, in Hopkins County, Ky., he was the son of the late Thomas R. Greer and Meleisure Johnston Greer. He was a welder mechanic for Landstar Ligon. He is survived by his wife, Kdye Mason Greer of Earlington; two sons, William Anthony Greer of Fayetteville, N.C., and Thomas Randall Greer of Earlington; one daughter, Liberty Erin Fulkerson of Nortonville, Ky.; one step-daughter, Deena Meshelle Crick of Manitou, Ky.; one brother, David Greer of Charleslon, Ky.; three step-brothers, John Royal and Robert Royal, both of Illsley, Ky., and William Royal of Illiniois; one step-sister, Jane Smith of South Carolina; two grandchildren; two step-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m Thursday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery in Muhlenberg County, Ky. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. (Madisonville Messenger, Feb 9, 1999)
