Hi Back Porch,
I know it has been a while since I have posted to the list.
But would appreciate any help that you can give me on this.

Samuel Redd Dekalb Watson was married at least once or twice before
he married Elizabeth Hughes, anyone know to whom he married before her??
Marriage records say that Eliz & Samuel were married in 1867, daughter
Annie Watson was born in 1866. Annie always spoke of Elizabeth as her
mother. Now either Annie was born before they married or Annie has a
different mother other then Elizabeth. My father-in-law says that his
grandmother Annie always spoke of Elizabeth as her mother and he
remembers when they buried her. I have the marriage record of Elizabeth
& Samuel and also the death record of Annie on the death record it does
say that a Susan Hughes was the mother of Annie but Ruth Childers told me
before she died that she only knew Elizabeth as being called Susan Hughes
so am assuming that her middle name was either Elizabeth or Susan??

Appreciate any help on this one.
