. . . Mr. Allison moved to DeLand with the U.S. Navy in 1942. He was among one of the 1st sailors at the newly established Navy base in DeLand. He also served in the Pacific with the Navy. After finishing college with a degree in education and a law degree from Augusta Law Schook, Augusta, Ga., Mr. Allison became a teacher and helped Spec Martin coach at DeLand High School.
