Mary Ann BRISTOW104 was born on 2 July 1841 in KY. She died on 21 July 1880 in Belleville, ILL. She died in From Asthma. Mary was buried in Rider Cemetery. I know very little about Mary Ann Bristow, her mother, sister Martha Bristow and her husband Mr. Woodberry. And also brothers James the youngest, or of John who was in the Civil War, and the Oldest the Broker, who went to the Goldfield. They were from Kentucky don't know the town or county. Don't know their first names, the father or mother. When the Woodberry's and Bristow's were on their way north they met with another traveler or wagon train, I don't really know. Wm. J. Davis was on his way back to St. Clair Co. from TN where he had been. Why I don't know. The two families met and traveled together to St. Clair Co. When or how it happened, it was here soon after that Mary Ann and Wm. J. Davis were married 10-11-1860. It was to late for the 1860 Census. Have to try to get a death certificate but all that was there was home and dates.

Spouse: William Johnathan DAVIS. Mary Ann BRISTOW and William Johnathan DAVIS were married on 11 October 1860 in Belleville, ILL. William J. Davis was a Teamster and paddler old iron and other scrap. Wm. and Mary Ann had two sets of twins. First set were a boy and girl; they died as babies. The second set were identical twin sons, Arthur was called Jim and Oscar was called Johnny or Jack. Children were: boy DAVIS, girl DAVIS, Sarah Frances DAVIS, Emma Gertrude DAVIS, William Benjamin DAVIS, Arthur DAVIS, Oscar DAVIS.
