Lowens (56 M), Ophelia Lowens (? F), Eliza Lowens (25 F), Mary A. Lowen
(25 F), and John M. Lowens (27 M). Neighbors are: Belt, Collins, Yates,
Fowe (? Hard to read). As a note, Opehlia's can be nicknamed multiple
ways (Fida's, Afia's, etc). You can also gothru www to franklin co KY as
a search to find the census 1850.

My G-G-G-G ! Grandfather John Jeffries married Lucy Lowen
April 18, 1803in Jessamine Co. Kentucky. She was born abt 1789
in Culpeper, VA.
Her parents were Frances Lowen who died in Kentuck 9/30/1820 and
Lucy Bourne b. 1765 in Jessamine? m 8/1/1784
says of Culpeper (maybe she was born in Culpeper), died 1837 in Jessamine.
I find lots of information on the Bournes but little on Lowens and
Jeffries.
