The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Johnston, Mrs. Greer was born in Todd county and with her parents, moved to Hopkins county when she was nine months old. She married Harry Royal in 1936 and to this union three sons were born. Mr. Royal died in 1941 and she married Thomas R. Greer in 1944. Two were born of this union. Besides the husband and parents, survivors include five children, William Andrew, John Evan and Robert Earl Royal; and David Wayne and Thomas Ray Greer; a sister, Mrs. Pallos Elkins, Mortons Gap; and four brothers, Lilburn Johnston, Carbondale; John Johnston, Earlington; and Woodson and Omer Johnston, Ilsley. The remains were take today to the home in Ilsley. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday in Earlington Assembly of God Church with Rev. Luther Teague, Oak Hill, officiating.
