He came to Fayette Co., KY and married Francis Chapman May 23, 1792. They moved to Cumberland Co., in 1801 but on account of the Indians they moved to Barren Co. on Peter's Creek fifteen miles south of Glasgow where he died Aug 13, 1821 and she died Jun 3, 1832 and they were buried on the home place. He arrived in Nam on the first day of Tett, spent most of the time as a side gunner in a Huey. His plane was shot down once, but managed to escape. He was exposed to large amounts of Agent Orange and later developed multi-myloma, a cancer of the bone marrow. His brother, Roger donated marrow, but while the cancer was arrested, the Chemo destroyed his intestional tract, which led to his death. He had approx 26 parachute jumps to his credit.
